So we're married!
In this post you'll find not only my DIY leather wedding dress but also all the details about the wedding and of course - I'd like to introduce to you the love of my life, the man behind the camera, the one who supports me and who makes my life complete - my husband.
If you follow my Instagram, you saw the following pictures already.
I'd like to say again, that we're a true punk-ish couple, we can't stand official procedures, we both feel awkward when doing "what we're supposed to do" especially when people are watching. We'd rather go to a dentist (twice), than be grandiloquently (is that the word?) asked whether we're ready to take each other as husband and wife.
We'd just come and sign the papers if we could, but as for now, it's seems impossible. So we had to go through an official procedure which everyone is normally happy to go through.
We got to the municipality at 10am, where we met 2 witnesses and a lady dressed like an american movie judge. She was smiling widely and took our rings, which were fastened to a small pillow.
Than she read some of our story - how we met and how long we know each other, followed by an official part, then ordered us to get up and hold hands. Basically that's why we're shaking hands on one of the photos. Then we put the rings on each other's fingers while repeating the vows after her, kissed and she pronounced us husband and wife.
This was the only moment I felt something beside an utter giggling - but more because it's such a common thing said in every movie, and it was weird to hear it said to me.
Then we signed the papers and took off. The ceremony was not longer than 10 minutes, which was about as long as we could take it. Apparently we both were struggling with giggles and we both didn't feel any different - we call each other husband and wife for ages already.
The we went to eat breakfast, drove about the country side and talked and talked and talked, got to a park and finally took some wedding shots (aka outfit shots). It was a pretty cold day, as you can see on one of the photos, and it was raining half of the time (and the wind almost blew me away) but overall we had tons of laughs!
As you see I didn't dare to stroll around the park in my golden ADR for H&M shoes (see a full review here), as it was too dirty! So I put on the Sacha wedge sneakers (I'll tell you about them later on, they're purrrrfect!) and I plan to wear the dress more with these sneakers!
So after the park we finally went to eat sushi (we ate a lot!! oh, heavenly food!) and finished the day by watching old Eddy Murphy stand up acts, laughing our asses off.
We had the most perfect wedding we could ever wish for. Just two of us.
